We're Giving Up

Nope. April Fool's :)

The past month has been full of new developments, and I want to share a few!

1. A few weeks ago, we had our first photo shoot with teenage pro-life advocates and an adorable baby!

2. Our documentary is still in the works, and it promises to be an excellent snapshot of our mission and our journey. Stay tuned!

2. Last week, I had the privilege of speaking to high school students at my home high school in Maryland about the pro-life position. It was a great opportunity to step back and break down the pro-life worldview to its foundation. Being able to share it was absolutely life-giving. If my audience remembers nothing else, I hope they will remember the importance of COMPASSION.

4. Today was a big day for us, as we had the opportunity to share our project in story for CBN News. It is my hope and prayer that this story will propel this movement to the parts of our country where it is needed most.

My favorite part about The Message Dress is that it provides a new narrative for the pro-life movement. Many are under the impression that the pro-life movement is composed of bossy old white men in suits. Nope, our team is young, educated, passionate, and loving women and men. But here is something that we cannot forget:

Who we are--gender, age, race, educational background, etc.--does not validate or invalidate the humanity of an unborn child. Every unborn life is a unique, living, and whole. Every unborn life is intrinsically valuable.

So, no matter who we are and no matter who you are, the unborn are still human.

Human life is still intrinsically valuable, and you can fight to protect it with boldness.

The lovely lady pictured above is Anna. Anna spent her spring break in Florida. But, she was not at the beach. Instead, Anna visited college campuses to talk about abortion with young adults. Anna shined so brightly in her interview with CBN, and her experiences in Florida have fueled her passion for proclaiming the importance of restoring the basic human right to life to the unborn.
